GI Bracelet

Joel Gaines, my partner on the Monday Iraq Reports at Winds of Change and proprietor of the fine weblog No Pundit Intended calls my attention to this site: Support Our Troops GI Bracelet.

There are lots of Americans who are trying hard to support the troops as best they can by publically thanking soldiers and purchasing various items either to directly help the troops or to display their support for the troops. Unfortunately, as in all such cases where large sums of money are involved, that means there are people who are trying to get their hands on some of that money for themselves. Fortunately, the guys at GI-Bracelet are helping to act as a clearinghouse for legitimate military support charities, giving the full $5 of every purchase to the nonprofit organization of your choice.

So if you're looking for a way to support the troops, swing by and check them out.

I apologize for only allowing authenticated commenters, but comment spam overwhelms the site if I don't use those measures to prevent it. I reserve the right to delete any comment, although generally comments will only be deleted due to use of profanity or personal attacks on people. I have no objection to vigorous argument, but when name-calling begins, I'm putting a stop to it. In the immortal words of Eugene Levy, "People, people, let's stop this before somebody says something untrue!" If you want to call people names, I recommend you get your own blog.
