The Two Towers will get similar treatment next week in anticipation of the release of Return of the King. Amanda and I checked out Fellowship yesterday, and I'd recommend you do the same. The extended version does an excellent job of fleshing out the story, and seeing it on the big screen just makes it that much better. Given that this will likely be your only chance to see the extended versions in theaters, and since Jackson's work is likely one of the best movies of all time in the aggregate, you're cheating yourself if you don't go see it the way it's meant to be seen.
